Raper Creek Falls, Chattahoochee National Forest - Habersham County, Georgia.

Afternoon light highlights the autumn foliage and scattered leaves around Raper Creek Falls.

This waterfall is one of the more unique in the area. When standing there, you almost get the illusion that water must be running uphill to fall where it does. The shelf of bedrock it falls from has a pronounced downward angle he the right of the waterfall. Beautiful place in the right light!

The long-abandoned Dallas Power and Light East Substation—originally built in 1920 to power Dallas' streetcar system—decays in the city's Cedars neighborhood. This photo I shot ten years prior to this one helps highlight the location's decline.
