Op 15 september 2026 komt de 2019 305 van RTB CARGO aan in Lixhe met een lege kalkslurrytrein uit Virton. De imposante Stadler heeft zijn lange sleep bijna op bestemming en slingert zich tijdens de laatste meters door het groene landschap van de Maasvallei.
De omgeving maakt deze opname minstens zo interessant als de trein zelf. Op de achtergrond vinden we een heerlijk typisch Belgisch tafereel: een verzameling huizen die doorheen de jaren schijnbaar zonder al te veel samenhang naast elkaar zijn gegroeid, verschillende bouwstijlen en materialen door elkaar en, om het plaatje helemaal compleet te maken, zelfs een fritkot langs de weg. Veel Belgischer hoeft het eigenlijk niet te worden.
Ondanks dat september ondertussen halfweg is, oogt het landschap nog opvallend zomers. Het frisse groen en de strakblauwe 2019 305 zorgen daarbij voor een mooi contrast, terwijl hier en daar in de bomen toch al voorzichtig de eerste herfstkleuren verschijnen.

Blush & Gold — Rose in Full Bloom
Layer upon layer of soft sunlight — golden butter-yellow at its heart, blushing peach along the curves, fading to delicate creamy white at the edges. Each petal ruffled and folded in its own gentle rhythm, catching the light differently at every turn.
