A data transfer with ODBC is a rather comfortable way
of transfering data from one database to another.
In the case of Access it:
- • requires Access ODBC drivers installed
- • also requires an ODBC driver for the target database
- • requires local or net file access to the MDB file
The fact that Access is only available for certain platforms
is a big obstacle here.
