Over 5 years now the Council decided this tower block was no longer safe for the residents. Within the hour they evacuated all the residents from their homes. The earlier cladding had become a serious fire hazard and had to be removed. This was done in good time to allow the residents to return to their homes. However the replacement with the new cladding named Rockwool Non Combustable insulation seems to be taking forever.
